Although I became a Christian at university in London, and worshipped then at one of the HTB church plants (St Barnabas), my life afterwards has taken me to an Anglican evangelical church in Loughborough, an ecumenical church plant in Cardiff, a traditional church with more formal services and a robed choir and now to where I find myself today.

Today I worship at St Margaret of Antioch, Princes Road, a Liberal Catholic Church Plant serving one of Liverpool’s most diverse, multi faith communities, where our conviction is simple; all are welcome always.
I have been part of a Church plant and also long-established congregations with different traditions in Plymouth and London but mostly in Brighton & Hove.
I have served in many different roles in these churches, including as a home group leader, team leader for a church plant, worship leader, preacher and PCC member.
Church plant to Christ Church Peckham: PCC
Having served faithfully in my former parish in Liverpool, I recently moved to Warrington to help establish St Andrew’s CofE Multilingual Church, a vibrant new church plant reaching people across English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi language backgrounds. I have served within the Church of England for several years and am currently moving through the discernment process.

I’ve also had the privilege of being part of the leadership of a new bilingual church plant which has grown from a team of 20 to a congregation of nearly 100 in just four years.
I served for six years as a children’s pastor, followed by context-based ordination training split between a standard parish and a new estate church plant.
My second son is currently assistant minister in just such a church plant in central London.
Personally, I have appreciated working with the Diocesan Safeguarding Officers with various situations linked to the church plant I lead, and I have been impressed by the rigour with which they deal with each case.
After the four years of engineering, I left to support a church plant and explore fulltime Christian ministry which led to study at Oak Hill College and ordination.
I spent seven years working for a church as a children’s and family lead, three years as a community worker as we started a church plant, and since being ordained in 2023 I’ve been serving my curacy in Keighley.
I then started my formal ministry in a small conservative evangelical church plant in Arborfield as a ministry trainee and later assistant minister.
In 2006 while employed by Christian Vision for Men (CVM), we went for 4 years with a church plant to St John’s church, Peasedown St John, a rural and far less affluent parish.
