At 23, I bring a voice that represents the younger generation of Christians who are here and now serving in local parishes, caring about our planet, and praying for a kinder, more open Church.
Maintaining an active Christian representative in every parish community should be an absolute priority to reach out to the younger generation and build a sustainable following for the future.
The Younger Generation – It is vital that we are preparing children and young people to live as disciples of Jesus in a changing world and as we do so, preparing some of them to be those who lead the church in the future.
With nearly half my life shaped by a Global Majority Heritage context and over half by life in the UK — including pastoral ministry in inner-city London — I hope especially to bring an understanding of the distinct experiences, gifts and challenges of Global Majority Heritage clergy and of younger generation ministers.
