Women in Ministry
I support initiatives that develop women in ministry and leadership, both lay and ordained.
Alongside full-time parish life, I have served as Chair for the House of Clergy on Ely Diocesan Synod (2014 – 2018) before being appointed to the Bishop's staff (2014) as Diocesan Adviser for Women in Ministry (DAWM) and to the Archbishops’ College of Evangelists (2023).

That is why I stand for inclusion at all levels including: women in ministry, ethnic and cultural groups, neurodivergent groups, those with different learning needs and the LGBTQ+ community.
As Adviser for Women’s Ministry, I have worked to promote training and support for women in ministry in Leeds.
Alongside parish ministry, I have contributed to the wider life of the Diocese through supporting women in ministry, racial justice and vocational formation.
The Flourishing of Women in Ministry I am committed to the flourishing of women throughout the life and ministry of the Church through good formation, encouragement, appropriate support and a culture in which women can exercise the gifts God has given them faithfully and confidently.
o I support a traditional view of marriage and family life o I support the role of women in ministry I trust that you can see that, as a result of my MSE experience, I offer a different perspective on some of the big issues facing the Church of England over the next five years and can bring valuable experience to Synod which is important given the increasing reliance of self-supporting ministers in the Church.
I am fully supportive of women in ministry at all levels, and the full inclusion of LGBT people in all aspects of the life of the Church.
I fully support the representation of women in ministry and that there should be equitable participation at every level of the Church.
