Coming from a charismatic evangelical background my formation for priesthood at the College of the Resurrection was something of a steep learning curve but I found within the Anglo-Catholic tradition a language for my love of worship and a deep tradition of social action rooted in theological integrity from which I continue to draw.
I am married to Helen who was a Middlesborough GP and is now a Trustee and volunteer for the Genesis Christian social action project.
I am currently working with the Diocesan Racial Justice Co-ordinator on a variety of projects and I represent Chichester on the South Eastern Dioceses Social Action/Social Justice Network.
This included leading the ‘Every Good Work’ Project, which works with young people cross the city of Wakefield, engaging them in social action and discipleship.

I am offering to serve on General Synod because of my deep commitment to mission and social action that aligns with being Christ-centred and Scripture focussed.
