England at Porvoo Leaders' Consultation, Portugal;
I was born in south-western Finland and baptised and confirmed in the Finnish Lutheran Church, which has been in full communion with the Church of England since the Porvoo Common Statement of 1992.
Before moving to England, I worshipped with our Porvoo Communion partners in the Church of Sweden (where this Diocese has an official link with the Diocese of Harndsand) and I have also, through friendships and an Ecumenical Placement while at Cranmer Hall, had significant contact with the Roman Catholic Church.
We work in close and fruitful partnership with the Church of Norway under the Porvoo Agreement.
I also represent the Diocese at the annual convention of the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe and have attended the Porvoo Contact Group.
