Today, while I prefer more formal and sacramental worship, I treasure the friendships made through the New Wine network and would describe myself, only half- jokingly, as a committed anglo-catholic charismatic evangelical.
I attended New Wine through my teens and have reconnected with the New Wine network since ordination.
I have had the opportunity to worship in churches of many different context/ churchmanship’s to my own and can adapt and be flexible from Matins, sung Eucharist to on the chair/floor in New Wine worship environments as well as large formal Cathedral/Minster services.
I have been a Seminar Speaker at New Wine summer conference on transitioning church; and at leadership conference on growing churches and in giving leadership support to vicars who were struggling in their parishes.
Beyond Telford, I serve within the New Wine leadership community as Creative Lead for national events and as a ReSource Minister, supporting its work of encouraging ‘little, local and ordinary churches’ in spiritual renewal.
After a gap year as a New Wine Discipleship Year Student at St Mellitus Church, Hanwell (2019-2020) I moved to Cambridge to study Theology, Religion and Philosophy of Religion.

During this time, I also served as Deputy Area Dean of Cobham Deanery, sat on the board of Gravesend Churches Housing Association, and led a New Wine Core Group in Dartford.
Today, I remain deeply embedded in our local community as a school governor, a trustee of a local charity serving the vulnerable, and a co-leader of a New Wine Network in Gillingham.
From the silent retreat to being part of the 20,000 worshipers at New Wine, God has always answered my prayers.
