I have helped the PCC through major projects including a modern church room, a new organ, and recently raised £30k for roof repairs.
I was recently appointed President of Modern Church, where I have written for their journal.
With several moves for work before coming to work in Dorset, our ‘local’ churches included a modern church in a ‘new town’, an ancient church in a very rural village, a lively church in a market town and a mission church on a housing estate; all with very different styles of worship in the rich variety which is the Church of England!
I am LGBTQ+ and second-generation Polish, a former sociology and social policy academic, a Modern Church Trustee and Council Member, and I currently serve in a rural Benefice in Bedfordshire, across the parishes of Cople, Moggerhanger and Willington.
As a sociologist and Modern Church Trustee, I will use my deep understanding of both the big picture and people's everyday lives to think strategically as Synod makes decisions about how we, as a Church, best witness, evangelise and minister in contemporary society.
