My ministry includes Messy Church, Young Christians, All Age Worship, contemporary worship, leading a home group and serving as part of the benefice leadership team.
However, I have always seen practical action as a vitally important demonstration of my faith and have been instrumental in facilitating and taking part in Foodbank at St Elisabeth’s since 2014, a community café, and children’s work in the form of Totz toddler group and Messy Church as part of our parish’s witness.
Schools work has flourished, Messy Church has been planted, as has a new worshipping community on a retirement village.
In the places where I have served, I have helped to develop Messy Church, toddler groups, work with children and young people, school partnerships and wider community ministry.
● Volunteer working with children and vulnerable adults at St Catherine's Church, Coventry, since April 2022 — leading children's engagement programmes under full safeguarding compliance (DBS certified). ● Lead Bible study for adults, children and young people's Sunday services, and co-lead the evening Theological Reflection Group (in-person and via Zoom). ● Coordinator of the Parish Church Council & Theological Reflection Group, and speaker at Deanery Synod advocating for faith-based initiatives. ● Hosted Racial Justice Sunday, leading discussions on racial justice within theological reflection at the church. ● Support Messy Church, Outreach and Hot Chocolate afternoon events, helping foster connections within the community. ● Previously served as Children's Teacher and church committee member (sanctuary keeper, Treasury & Audit Committee, Choir) at Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), Ibadan, Nigeria, from 2010 to 2021.
Over the last couple of years, we have started up some new styles of church aimed at families- Lego church, where we gather to create Bible stories out of lego, pray, and eat together, and Wonderfully Messy Church, a monthly church gathering specifically for children with additional needs and disabilities and their families.
From messy church to robed choir BCP, I have loved being involved in every part of our worship and seeing how these different styles all praise God in different ways.

• I also lead a SEND Messy Church for disabled children and their families.
Some of the funding also goes to lowest-income communities, and some is for partner organisations, including Messy Church and Bubble Church.
I have participated in children’s ministry, led at Messy Church and Scripture Union camps and have seen in my own and neighbouring churches how we can engage children, families and young people with the message of Jesus in simpler, bolder ways.
