On the practical level I am currently a member of the church PCC and regularly assist with ‘Messy Mass’.
I lead several parish inititaives, including Kingdom Mass, Kingdom Mass Takeover and God’s Pilgrim Servants, creating welcoming and safe spaces where young people can encounter God, grow in faith, explore their vocation as Christians, and discover the gifts which God has given them.
A Voice of Hope and National Unity: I have become increasingly anxious about the state of our nation - our identity (English, British?), the increasing likelihood of war with Russia or Iran, national insolvency, lawlessness, de-population (you can watch my Synod speech in July 2026), deep political polarisation, rising levels of anti- semitism, and anxiety about climate change, Islamism and mass immigration.
I was brought up attending church once a year for Christmas Eve Midnight Mass – at the time, my family and I were more interested in the hot pork baps and mulled wine that we would have after the service!
The sacraments will no longer be offered at the daily mass.
