Commissioned as a Lay Pioneer in 2018 That has included founding Inclusive Church Peterborough, helping develop LGBT+ community groups, supporting a Community Fridge, Warm Hubs, Family Fun Days, mental health training days, outreach cafes, online services etc.
Welcome — A Church for everyone where all ministries are valued I don’t just support an inclusive Church in theory, I have helped build it in practice.
For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbour as yourself.” Galatians 5:1-14 I’m standing for election because I believe passionately in the mission and ministry of the Church of England in all its diversity and in an inclusive church where everyone is enabled to flourish.

My hope is for a united and inclusive church in which we can live out our common faith in and through God's love for everybody.

I hope that the Holy Spirit can guide us into a new way of living together with our differences, recognising our imperfect understanding but also the many areas where we agree and share a mission. (I’m a member of ‘Inclusive Church’ which encompasses race and disability as well as gender issues.) Climate change and loss of biodiversity are of enormous significance for us all, but especially for our children and grandchildren.
STANDING SHOULDER TO SHOULDER WITH INCLUSIVE CHURCH AND TOGETHER When I became Chair of WATCH in 2022 I tried to make clear that my calling was to help women achieve equality in the Church and to stand against the harmful oppression of women in our world.
I am, therefore, a passionate supporter of Inclusive Church and other organisations that seek to combat discrimination on other grounds.
That changed when in my late 30s I found a wonderfully affirming and inclusive church where my faith in Jesus was nurtured and encouraged.
I am a huge supporter of the ‘Inclusive Church Network’ and am committed to their challenge of discrimination on the grounds of disability, economic power, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, learning disability, mental health, neuro diversity or sexuality.
An inclusive church for everyone

I believe Synod must find a way to return to that spirit of trust and continue the work of enabling the Church to become what it has promised to be: a radically more inclusive Church.
My heart is for a truly inclusive church, where we all feel welcome and can contribute in our own original way: no matter our age, our sex, our gender, our identity or sexual orientation, no matter the colour of our skin, the language(s) we speak, where we are from, what abilities or disabilities we have, how rich or poor we are or where we are on our faith journey – because Jesus has died for us all and he wants all of us to come to Him.

Since moving to Peckham in 2003, I have been a member of St John’s East Dulwich, an inclusive church that welcomes a broad range of worshippers, for the past 20 years.
I am fully supportive of the vision of Together for the Church of England and the Inclusive Church Network.
Conversations on what the future of LGBT inclusion in the church looks like won’t be going away for the term ahead, and if elected, I will always vote for a fully inclusive church.

While I was Priest-in-Charge of Paul, we be- came the first Anglican church in Cornwall to join the Inclusive Church network.
I am delighted to be 50, a parent to two amazing teenagers, and part of a fantastic inclusive church community in Putney

BUILDING AN INCLUSIVE CHURCH
LGBTQ+ I have a commitment to an inclusive church that enables every person to find their place and live out their calling in the body of Christ.
When I stood five years ago, I promised I would campaign for more support to be given to poorer parishes with national funds deployed well, for young people to be better engaged with, for a more inclusive Church, whose doors are open to all, especially LGBT+ Christians.
These issues remain key as I stand again, with the support of both Inclusive Church and Save the Parish.
I have hope that the Church can continue to “do more to reach more” and that a truly inclusive church will bring so many benefits to our churches and our communities at large and is what the Scripture commands of us all.
