Whilst my natural style of worship tends towards the liturgical, I have since been shaped and encouraged by a variety of churches of different styles and contexts, from an estate church in Bristol via St Mary’s, Saffron Walden & HTB to a varied benefice near Braintree, where my wife is a vicar.
When that particular church went off the rails, I sought refuge in an HTB-style Anglican church which is where I got married.
Although I became a Christian at university in London, and worshipped then at one of the HTB church plants (St Barnabas), my life afterwards has taken me to an Anglican evangelical church in Loughborough, an ecumenical church plant in Cardiff, a traditional church with more formal services and a robed choir and now to where I find myself today.
I had the privilege of serving as Curate under Bishop Sandy Millar for 19 years and then served as Vicar of HTB for 17 years.
Now I have the joy of serving under Canon Archie Coates as Curate again, attending HTB Courtfield Garden where my proposer, The Revd Annie Ellis, and seconder, The Revd Dr Kaosidi Redwood-Sawyerr, are both part of the leadership team.
In this time, I worshipped at Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) and was very involved with the Alpha course and various other aspects of Christian service.
I then worked at HTB before going to All Nations Christian College to study Biblical, Missiological & Cross-Cultural Studies.

• PCC and Deanery Synod member (HTB); also, in previous churches.
• Leading a weekly ecumenical Bible study group (affiliated to HTB) with my husband, Rob.
• On the HTB Junior Church team (Sunday School), member of a Bible study group and Lectio

I attend St. Matthias Brighton, a HTB network church, where I am an active member in many aspects of church life.
My name is Jen, and I have been attending Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) for around three years.
Over the past year, I have served as a lay representative on Chelsea Deanery Synod (CDC) and as an ex-officio member of the HTB Advisory Church Council (ACC).
Within HTB, I serve as a volunteer on the 5pm Service staff team and lead the Young Adults group.
I helped run 2 Alpha courses in Alnwick church Northumberland& numerous at HTB & was on the PCC at Stanstead church, Kent.
