When I moved to the UK in my twenties, I joined an evangelical free church in the North-East and took part in an Alpha course, which brought me into a much closer relationship with Jesus.
A bit about me… I grew up in a small free church in rural Oxfordshire, and was attracted to come to study at the University of Birmingham by the vibrant diversity of the city.
Before ordination I served for a decade as a free church minister and I was also the National Director of Alpha UK.
Part of an ecumenical team from local Baptist, Free Church, URC and Anglican churches which organises bi-annual Bible conferences aiming to bring faithful bible teaching and worship to a wider audience Each summer I volunteer as part of the Prayer Ministry Team at the annual Keswick
I have been a Christian all my life and was baptised by full immersion in a Free Church Chapel at the age of 13.
Having been raised in a very conservative evangelical free church, I would now describe myself as somewhere fairly middle of the road.
