For more than twenty years I have served on PCCs in a variety of roles, including Deanery Synod Representative, Electoral Roll Officer and Honorary Secretary.
I am also the Deanery Synod Representative, Electoral Roll Secretary, Environmental Officer and until recently I was the PCC Secretary.
Presently on the electoral roll for St Bartholomew’s, Orford, and have been churchwarden, now Lay Elder and PCC member as well as on the Deanery Synod, Diocesan Synod, Vacancy In See, Board of Patronage, Suffolk Archdeaconry for Pastoral Care, and Bishop’s Council.
For the last eleven years, I have had the privilege of serving as both the Rector of Holy Trinity Clapham, the first resourcing church in Southwark diocese and a church with an electoral roll over 600, and as the Priest in Charge of All Saints Clapham Park, a smaller church just behind Brixton prison with an electoral roll under 50.

I have served on PCCs for many years and including as Treasurer, PCC secretary, Electoral Roll officer and currently Vice chair (during our interregnum).

And a Church which continues to be present in communities throughout this country, serving people whether or not they ever appear on an electoral roll.
Often the parishes with the smallest numbers on the electoral roll have the hardest-working people, and they should be equipped and supported, not left to burn out.

I am on the electoral roll of the parish and have served on the PCC for a number of years, with a particular interest in the maintenance and preservation of the church building.
